![]() ![]() ![]() After the complete redesign that Google Sites service received in 2016, the old web application was separated into the 'Classic' Google Sites, while the new official version moved to the full original set of services, backend features, and UI solutions that are not based on old JotSpot technology anymore. Originally released to the public in early 2008 (after it was known in 2006 as JotSpot website editor for small-sized and medium-sized businesses, and Google Page Creator in 2007), this web app managed to evolve into the fully-featured website editor that can serve the needs of both home and business users. And the best thing yet, since the app is focused on visual editing of website elements and backend features, it does not even require its users to be well versed in coding or other web-design skills. Google Sites is a cloud-hosted productivity application created by Google that allows users of all knowledge levels to create and edit websites both solo and in an online collaborative environment. ![]()
